It's all about privacy and the view.
Waipio Rim is perched above Waipio Valley at the end of a private road. The road and lot were carved from the top of the Valley wall. Large tracts of forest adjoin the property on three sides. To the north, the view drops straight into the Valley and out to the ocean.
The unit is separate from the main house and upstairs, making it very private.

Entries in our guest book:
" What a wonderful vacation! We drove all over the island, and the best view was still just outside our front porch. It was so refreshing to fall asleep every night to the sound of the ocean down in the valley. The breakfast and fresh coffee in the morning was the perfect way to start our day. We couldn't have dreamed of a better honeymoon...." Rachel and Dave, October-November 2009
" ...it was so beautiful and a much needed vacation..." Catherine and Hans, September 2009
" This place is a knockout! Million dollar views, sounds of surf, the end of the road! Thanks again, and great job putting this beautiful B&B together." Jennifer and Kass, December 2009
