Location

Volcano Cedar Cottage is nestled on the slopes of Mauna Loa at 3,800 ft above sea level in a lush rainforest. It is just 3 miles to the entrance of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Volcano Village is 1 mile away, with several nice restaurant.

Rooms/Suites

The Haku Cottage features a cheerful white lattice entrance. It has a bathroom with shower, kitchenette and table for two overlooking the garden. You can enjoy a steaming cup of coffee on your little private lanai surrounded by fruit trees and giant ferns. This cozy cottage is the perfect honeymooning getaway.

The Ali'i Suite features a private deck entrance shaded by an elegant angel trumpet tree. The suite features a comfortable queen bed, twin bed for a 3rd person(extra charge}. The bathroom has a tub/shower and 2 sinks.

The Ohia Room; Sorry, NOT AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. features its own private entrance on a rustic ohia log deck above a garden of anthuriums, fuschias and orchids in the shade of the giant fern trees. This intimate room is decorated in shades of blue and has its own private bathroom.

Ali’i Suite: $95.00 (if a third party is in this room there is an extra $15 charge).
Ohia Room: not available at this time.

Breakfast

A full cooked breakfast is served, featuring local and traditional favorites. Fresh fruit for starters along with, juice, coffee, teas, toast/baked goods.

Facilities

All of our accommodations come with these amenities standard: a television, digital cable, alarm clock, microwave, mini-refrigerator,electric blanket, hairdryer and basic bathroom toiletries. An internet router is available for your laptop computer.

We request no smoking anywhere in our home. Each guestroom does have a covered lanai for those guests who do smoke.

Payment & Cancellation Policies

Reservations are held with the full amount of the stay paid in advance. We accept Travelers Checks, Visa/Master Credit Cards, Cash and Personal checks. Personal checks must be received within one week of phone confirmation (Our bank requires a 10day hold on all out of state checks to verify funds).

Cancellations made:
30 days prior to arrival date will receive a refund less a 15% cancellation fee.
15 29 days prior to arrival date will receive a 50% refund.
7- 14 days prior to arrival date will receive a 25% refund.
Cancellations received less than one week to arrival date will forfeit payment.

No refunds or cancellations accepted during the following blackout periods:
February 12-19,Last week of March,All of April, July 1-10, and the last weekend of July, All of August, November 23-30, December 15-January 2
