Welcome to My Island Bed & Breakfast Inn
Enjoy a night, week or longer in our century old missionary-style home at Kilauea Volcano.
We are located in Volcano Village in a temperate /tropical climate.
Our expanded homemade continental breakfast is served family style from 7 to 8:30 and makes a wonderful beginning for the day.
Walk through our extensive botanical garden that flowers all year. Over 150 varieties of trees, shrubs, ferns, orchids, anthuriums, lilies, you name it.
Your host Gordon Morse was born and raised in the islands, and is a born storyteller and armchair historian. Joann is a transplanted Bostonian from almost 60 years ago. Youngest child Kii lived on the mainland for 10 years but returned to her island roots to raise her two children.

- Volcano Village, on the perimeter of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.

- The three rooms in the main house have private and shared bathrooms.
The three units in the garden each have private baths and private entrances. - Rates
- Singles $75 - $150. Doubles $85 - $175
additional child (infant - 14 years old) $20.00
additional adult (15 years old and up) $30.00
Studio with kitchenette and private bath, color TV, private entrance $135.
Completely furnished guest house for up to 6 people, TV, VCR, DVD, telephone, wifi, washer and dryer, kitchen, living room, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, wood stove, includes breakfast. First couple $175, additional people will be charged an add-on fee based on number, please inquire for details.
Current Hawaii State Taxes will be added to all rates. - Breakfast
- Begins with a "My Island fruit boat" which is half a papaya, with a squeeze of lime, filled with fresh pineapple and dusted with macadamia nuts and finished with homemade yogurt. A special main dish is also served each morning to complete the expanded continental breakfast.
- Facilities
- Spacious living room with fireplace and color television, latest magazines, sage advice, and a very lovey-dovey cat. An extensive Hawaiiana library, Historical/Volcano research materials, self-guiding touring and walking booklets for Volcano area and East Hawaii.

- DEPOSIT: We take Visa, MasterCard, or Discover credit card number and expiration date and keep it on file as a "guarantee hold". Your card is NOT charged ahead of time.
PAYMENT: Upon check out, you will need to pay for the entire reservation with cash, non-bouncing personal check, travelers checks, Visa, MasterCard or Discover.
CANCELLATION POLICY: There is NO charge as long as you contact us and cancel your reservation, up to one day (24 hours) prior to your scheduled arrival date. You MUST contact us to cancel. If you DON'T cancel and if you DON'T show up for your reservation, we will charge your card for the entire reservation amount. - Payment Options
