Close to the active lava flow into the ocean, minutes from the Lava Boat Tour, Close to the Hot Ponds, Kapho Tide Pools. Seven miles from downtown Pahoa where you will find great shopping and resturants.

- Conveniently located on the east side of the Big Island, Ohia House is 5 miles off Hwy. 130 and ~30 minutes from Hilo International Airport. Just a few miles from the active lava flow, Hot Ponds, Tide Pools, “Red Road", and Kalapana Black Sands Beach. Ohia House Bed and Breakfast is indeed central to the many activities available in the area.

- Tropical comfort describes the well appointed private suite complete with sitting area, private full bath, queen-sized bed, cofee maker, refrigerator, microwave, and satellite TV. In addition, a private screened in lanai is your’s for bird sightings, reading books, and wireless intranet service. Don't forget the large pool and the magnificent deck area to either start or top off your day.
- Rates
- $105 a night, ongoing specials so be sure to email or call!
- Breakfast
- A generous Island breakfast is served at 8am daily. Choose to have it served on the screened lanai, or pool deck.

Private Lanai Queen Bed - Payment & Cancellation Policies
- Maximum occupancy is 2 adults. Price includes a generous breakfast served at 8 am. Hawaii accommodation taxes will be added. A deposit is required at the time of reservation.
Cancellation Policy
We will refund your deposit, less a $25. booking fee, if notified 30 days prior to arrival. If less than 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival, I will refund the deposit only if I am able to re-book the accommodation. Guests canceling within 72 hours of scheduled arrival will be responsible for the full amount of the reservation.

Linda , Watsonville/CA Stayed at The Ohia House for 2 wks in Aug, room was spacious, private, and clean. Breakfast was fantastic every morning, close to everything I wanted to do. Host's very helpful in giving directions and helping me plan my day. Pool, was clean and refreshing. Will come back next year.
