Savor the beautiful, relaxing ambience of Art and Orchids. Jerry and Markie thoroughly enjoy meeting people from all over the world while helping them appreciate the beauty and culture of Hawaii. We are artists who display our work as well as our diverse collection of original artwork from other artists. Stroll through our three acres of tropical rainforest with native Ohio and Hapuu, bamboo, fruit and spice trees, and orchids.

After a day of visiting active lava flows, Volcanoes National Park and local attractions such as waterfalls, botanical gardens, hiking, or snorkeling, relax in our hot tub, sit behind the waterfall in our salt water pool, or enjoy playing games in one of the common areas reserved for our guests.

We are eco-conscious and try to produce as much food from our land as possible. Besides our fruit and spice trees, we have a producing greenhouse and are developing an aquaponics system which is a method of raising fish which fertilize vegetables.

Wow! What a great B&B! From the yummy breakfasts to the comfy bed, great conversations, beautiful property, and warm hospitality—everything was perfect. What a great, relaxing tropical retreat to end our honeymoon. Next time we'll have to include some art lessons! Sherri & Lee

Spotlessly clean, welcoming, and with all the comforts of home. You have gone to a great deal of trouble to provide everything your guests could possibly need or want. Linda & Mike

Friendly atmosphere, delicious breakfasts and warm, welcoming hospitality. Eric & David

What a wonderful retreat! Fruit fresh off the tree, hot tub, and great conversations. We loved the place! Sean & Sesuko

Our second visit was as great as our first one. It's still the best place we've been to after many years of travel. Breakfasts here are our favorite thing. And the art gallery you have created is worth the trip by itself. Eva & Franco
