The Essence
Property: An enchanting Cedar and Redwood home located on 4 1/2 acres, nestled within a tropical, old country setting. Nik and Diana would like to invite you to our beautiful cedar and redwood home. Enjoy tropical, old country living on acreage overlooking Kealakekua Bay. 
Our days are warm and evenings mild. Enjoy the garden, we have many local fruits and plants including avocado, sugar cane,  taro, guava, loquat, papaya, pineapple, and bananas. 

Activities:
10-15 minutes drive - Kealakekua Bay (snorkeling, kayaks can be rented), shops, great restaurants. Great hiking trail to Captain Cook monument. 
20-25 minutes drive - Great beaches, swimming, diving, snorkeling, body surfing. 
30 minutes drive to Kaulua-Kona, 40 minutes to the airport.

Your friendly hosts will be happy to help you make the most of your Hawaiian vacation. 
Location: Captain Cook, above the historical Kealakekua Bay, 12 miles south of Kailua-Kona.
Rooms: All our rooms are tastefully decorated and have garden or ocean views, a private entrance, cable TV, king and queen size beds, with private or shared bath. Also a two-bedroomed cottage.
Rates: Cedar House Rooms - $70 - $110 per night, double occupancy, $10 per extra person in room, plus State taxes. 
Cottage - $110 per night , 4 night minimum, $660 per week.
Discount offered for extended stays.
Breakfast: Large breakfast with fresh orange juice, freshly baked breads, pastries, Kona coffee, locally grown fruits, enjoy daily specials such as banana pancakes, french toast made with local sweetbread, smoothies.
Facilities: Our  garden, guest deck , reading/sitting area are all common areas. Feel free to wander or sit and watch the abundant bird life.
Payment & Cancellation Policy: We accept Visa and Mastercard cards, travelers checks and cash.
Cancellation: 21 days notice March to November, 6 weeks notice Dec through Feb.
