| Property: | A small, peaceful, beautiful bed and breakfast, centrally located for exploring the entire island. | Our bed and breakfast is located next
to a seasonal stream and frequent rainbows, with a view of Mauna Kea's
summit across rolling pasture land.
We are surrounded by miles of rolling hills and the clean upcountry air of Waimea, just 15 minutes from the sun-kissed Kohala Coast. From our large picture windows you can watch the sunrise off of Mauna Kea and sunset into the deep blue at day's end. From every window, you see peaceful vistas on which to rest your eyes, including Mauna Loa, Mauna Kea, and Hualalai, three of the five shield volcanoes that comprise this island, as well as the lush green foothills of the majestic Kohala Mountains.
This Kohala area of the Big Island is known as a center for healing
and renewal. The "mana" of old Hawaii can still be powerfully felt here.

We have added special touches to assure your comfort in this environment of peace and beauty. It is quiet here, with birdsong and rainbows. When the stream is running, it is like an ambient massage. The air is crisp and invigorating. In these surroundings, you can enjoy deep, peaceful nights of sleep. When you arise, you will find a delicious, healthful breakfast with the fruits and treats of Waimea. You will also have access to regenerative infrared-thermal sauna treatments, relaxing, caring in-house massage, a yoga room where you can stretch and relax, or you might enjoy a stroll through the healing gardens.. | Location: | We are located in a small, quiet neighborhood in a country setting just outside of Waimea, also known as Kamuela. Waimea is a mecca for artists and artisans whose work can be found in the superb galleries lining the main street. | ||
| Rooms: | The Tree-top Suite A lovely two-room suite, perched in the trees, which can sleep up to six with private entrance, bath and deck, TV-VCR, phones, refrigerator, microwave & coffeemaker, The suite has two rooms and a bathroom. One room is a formal bedroom with a queen bed, garden window, deck entry and a comfortable loft bed accessed by narrow stairs; the other is a sitting room with a desk, trundle bed, deck entry and a comfortable loft bed accessed by a ladder. Each room has a separate closet and very different tree-top views. The rooms share a full bathroom with double sinks and a tub/shower. You may book one or both rooms. Suite: $135 one or two guests. | Rates: | See above. These rates for up to two, $15 for each additional guest. We require a 2 night minimum stay. | ||
| Breakfast: | Enjoy fresh streamside breakfasts daily: delicious island fruits, sumptuous pastries and breads, and a selection of island honey and spreads. Cereals, juices, and Kona coffee and tea are also provided. | ||
| Facilities: | Our Treetop Suite is uniquely designed and immaculate with open beam ceilings, picture windows, wall to wall berber carpeting, and a large modern bath and private deck. Each is completely separate and private from the main house. | ||
| Payment & Cancellation Policy: | We accept checks or cash - 50% deposit required to guarantee reservation, balance due on arrival. Should you need to cancel, we will cheerfully refund your deposit, less a $25 booking fee, if notified more than 30 days prior to arrival. If less than 30 days, then we will refund the deposit only if we are able to rebook the accommodation. For cancellations within 72 hours, the FULL amount of the reservation is required and again, can only be refunded if we can re-book the accommodation. | ||
